Full disclosure: this review is focused more on a particulr hairdresser than the store as a whole. First of all, I would like to say that this lady clearly had just gotten her salon license, as I seemed to know more about cutting hair than she did. She also talked to me as if I was a 5 year old child, and kept patronizing me the entire time I was there. What should have taken about 20mins ended up taking almost 2 hours. When I was seated, I was asked what type of style I wanted. I said I wanted a Meduim Fade, starting with a 1 or 1.5 on the sides and no more than a 3 on the top. This lady told me that she was going to start with a 4 on the sides and leave to top alone. I told her again the lengths I wanted, and she insisted that she not do that since she hadn't cut my hair before. Not only that, but she would stop about every 30 seconds and ask what I thought, and I kept trying to tell her exactly what I wanted, but she kept acting as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Eventually she finally gave me what she thought was a medium fade: she cut everything but my bangs to the same length. She asked if that was what I wanted and I just said no. At this point, another hairdresser saw she clearly didn't know what she was doing, and came over to "give her some tips." I came into the store wanting a simple haircut, and left with a buzz cut. A buzz cut that I didn't even want took nearly 2 hours. This is inexcusable and that hairdresser should not be employed by any business that cuts hair. I do not know how she even got her license to cut hair in the first place.
